The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is encouraging all graduate schools of social work to submit student dissertation abstracts for publication in the NASW Social Work Abstracts journal.
We have increased the word count for student abstracts to 300 words. This increase will bring the journal in line with the requirements for most schools of social work and it allows graduates broader exposure for their work. In addition, we are adding something new. There is an online form for dissertation advisors to submit electronically. To complete this form, you may use the link provided on this page. You have the option to send the dissertations electronically as attachments or under separate cover.
The association hopes this makes it easier for graduate schools of social work and students to continue their support for the Social Work Abstracts journal. We look forward to receiving your student dissertation abstracts to include them in the foremost abstracts journal of the profession.
