For more than 30 years, NASW’s abstracting service has been the starting point for literature searches in social work and social welfare. Social Work Abstracts reviews over 400 U.S. and international journals and publishes approximately 450 abstracts in each issue. Abstracts originally published in other languages are translated into English. In print form, Abstracts can be used alone or as a guide to the Social Work Abstracts PLUS (SWAB+) database, available on CD-ROM and the Internet through SilverPlatter.
