The Legal Environment of Social Work

Leila Obier Schroeder, MSW, JD, is professor of business law in the College of Business Administration and special lecturer in the School of Social Work at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. She served as psychiatric social work consultant for the state and, during her first year of law school, supervised social workers in community mental health clinics.
